Extended Sessions & Therapy Intensives

Accelerate Your Progress

Intensive Therapy can be a powerful way to accelerate progress in therapy. With longer uninterrupted time blocks 1 hour & 15 mins -3 hours for 1-3 days.

Sometimes therapy gets stuck in recap mode.

You come in with a lot to explain. We spend time catching up on what happened in your week— and then the session is almost over.

Extended sessions give us more room to complete the loop: understand what happened, identify the pattern, work with it, go deeper, practice something different, and leave with a clearer picture.

It is about giving therapy enough time for the to become useful sooner.

Intensives can shift stuck patterns faster.

What if therapy had enough uninterrupted time to reach the deeper work?

Especially during the first few months of therapy, the full hour may be spent weekly updates:

What changed? Which includes:

  • What was stressful?

  • What went well?

  • What happened in your relationships, work, mood, or functioning?

  • What now needs immediate support?

These updates are important. But they can leave little time to move beneath the events into the deeper work.

The unresolved pattern keeps creating new distress

Before the pattern changes, another week may bring:

  • The same triggers and emotional traps

  • New situations that activate the same struggle

  • More stress for an already taxed nervous system

  • Another week of painful beliefs feeling true

  • New distress that must be processed before returning to the root

Therapy intensives providing focused time for deeper healing and faster emotional clarity.

That concentrated time can help you accomplish in one intensive what might otherwise be spread across months of weekly 1-hour sessions.

Why an intensive?

One-hour sessions often end before the deeper connections can form

Once the immediate events are addressed, it can take time to:

  • Recognize the larger pattern

  • Connect present triggers to earlier experiences

  • Access the beliefs and emotions underneath

  • Notice what the nervous system is protecting against

  • Reconnect with the deeper thread from previous work

With a full week between sessions—often adding new stress and further taxing the nervous system—it may take the first few months of weekly therapy for the history, triggers, beliefs, and responses to begin connecting clearly.

Longer sessions protect the momentum

An intensive allows us to:

  • Move through the weekly update without stopping there

  • Stay with the work while your mind is already connected to it

  • Follow the pattern deeper without another week of stressors interrupting

  • Process more of the emotional and nervous-system response

  • Practice new skills while the pattern is active and recognizable

  • Begin changing the pattern before another week reinforces it

Go deeper—without waiting months for the pieces to connect.

Extended intensive therapy session designed for focused healing, emotional processing, and meaningful progress.

Faster Clarity:

You can learn what your triggers are, where they come from, begin to desensitize them, and learn how to handle anything similar in the future, within fewer days.

Integrated Healing:

By working together more intensively, we can address both the trauma and the resulting anxiety within days. You won’t feel torn between untangling past pain and learning anxiety-relief skills because we’ll have the time and space to do both.

Find & resolve the core of your struggles.

Intensive therapy shortens the healing process, letting us work through layers of hurt in a shorter time frame than traditional weekly sessions allow. You won’t be waiting weeks to untangle patterns; instead, we’ll build self-trust, resilience, and grounding in the here and now.
