Oklahoma Therapist: Helping You Heal from Anxiety & Self-Doubt

I don’t just listen — I help you get clear, stay steady, and let your heart feel bright and light again.

Oklahoma therapist offering online therapy for trauma, anxiety, PTSD, codependency, and narcissistic abuse in Oklahoma City (OKC).

Hello, I’m Kelcy Eckels — a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Oklahoma. I help big-hearted achievers break the cycle of anxiety, panic, and perfectionism so they can feel steady, confident, and on their own side.

My clients are often the ones others rely on. Calm on the outside, but secretly overwhelmed, running on pressure and self-doubt. They're carrying the weight of everyone’s emotions and wondering if they'll ever feel true rest. If that sounds like you, you're not alone—and you're not broken. Maybe you’ve tried therapy before but didn’t find the relief or progress you hoped for. That’s okay. It just means you’re ready for a deeper, more productive approach.

Who I Help & Why I Show Up This Way

You’re smart, kind, and deeply aware of others—but beneath the surface, you’ve been crumbling under the weight of everyone else’s needs. Maybe you’re exhausted from performing calm when you’re anything but. Maybe you’ve always been the helper, the one who "has it together," even when your own needs get buried.

I work with compassionate achievers who secretly carry overwhelm, anxiety, and shame. Many of my clients are recovering from covert narcissistic abuse, people-pleasing patterns, or emotional neglect. They want more than insight—they want tools, traction, and transformation.

You’ve spent a long time trying to hold it all together.

Why I Do This Work

I believe therapy should help you actually feel relief and understanding, not just vent. I’m drawn to this work because I know how powerful it is when someone helps you untangle the pressure and doubt in your head and finally says with clarity, “You make sense.”

Where Honesty Meets Compassion

I don’t offer empty validation. Yes, you’ll be deeply heard—but I’m also honest. Sometimes we’re off track, and we need someone to reflect the truth gently but clearly. Truth is what steadies us. It quiets the anxiety, stops the mental spirals, and helps us feel safe again—because things finally make sense.

The Heart and Science Behind My Work

I guide with evidence-based psychology and sociology, and the belief that meaningful change is possible for anyone willing to own their healing and do the work. This conviction fuels my commitment to walk alongside you as you reclaim your life and inner strength.

Most of my clients make meaningful progress and life strides.

  • “I finally understand why I feel this way.”
They begin to make sense of their emotions instead of feeling overwhelmed or confused.

  • “I’m not crazy—I’m just responding to what I’ve been through.”
They feel validated and start trusting their own perspective again.

  • “I thought I was the problem. Now I see the patterns.”
They realize their struggles are often rooted in past dynamics—not personal failure.

  • “I used to spiral for days—now I know how to calm myself.”
With the right tools, they start feeling more in control of their reactions.

  • “No one ever explained it like that before. It actually clicks.”
They find that simple analogies and practical guidance help things finally make sense.

My sessions are a sacred space for creativity, empathy, exploration, and even enjoyment amidst the healing journey.

In our work together, I am beside you every step of the way, guiding you and allowing you to see yourself and your world from new, empowering perspectives.

The goal is for you to cultivate the skills to be your own guide, fostering independence and resilience.
